Medium, please align story recommendations with publications | by Teri Radichel | Bugs That Bite | Oct, 2023

If I have two separate publications — recommend the stories from the publication the user is visiting

I was just looking at the stories at the bottom of one of my blog posts tonight. I have a blog that is dedicated to cybersecurity and cloud security.

Then I have this other blog where I report bugs I find and make feature requests to vendors. This blog if for things I would like to request or document but not send to people who follow my other blog.

So if someone is on this blog — Bugs That Bite — recommend stories from this blog at the bottom of the posts.

If someone is visiting my Cloud Security blog, don’t display posts from this blog. Show recommendations for the publication the user is on.

That will help ensure users get information that is more relevant to what they are trying to read.
